He is preceded in death by his parents, Juan Lerma and Cruz Rangel Lerma; brother, Francisco Lerma.
He is survived by his sister, Manuela Lerma; brothers, Juan Lerma and Abelardo Lerma; sons, Juan Gilberto Lerma, Ramiro Lerma Jr., Ricardo Lerma and Dominic Lerma; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nephews and nieces.
A Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, March 28, 2013, from 11:30am–4pm, with a Service at 2pm, at Funeraria Del Angel Buena Vista.
