Mrs. Alvarez is preceded in death by her loving husband, Rafael T. Alvarez, 3 sons Jose Angel Alvarez, Arturo Alvarez and Lorenzo Santiago Alvarez and a daughter-in-law Edith Alvarez.
Paula M. Alvarez is survived by her children Maria Guadalupe Alvarez, Victor Manuel (Josefina) Alvarez, Rafael Alvarez Jr., Homero (Sonia) Alvarez, Rosalinda (Emilio) Cruz, Norma (Jorge) Alvarez, Rogelio Alvarez, Jose Eduardo (Coral) Alvarez; her daughters-in-law, Isabel Alvarez and Maria Elena Alvarez; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and numerous brothers and sisters.
Visitation began on Friday, June 14, 2013, at 12 p.m. and continued until 9 p.m., with a prayer service at 7 p.m., in the Chapel at Funeraria Del Angel Buena Vista.
A Chapel Service will be held today at 1p.m., Saturday, June 15, at Funeraria Del Angel Buena Vista with a committal service to follow at Buena Vista Burial Park.
