Oscar Fuentes

Mr. Fuentes was a patriotic, marine, hardworking, loving father and grandfather, loved cooking out, watch football (Dallas Cowboys), loved life, fishing and loved helping people.

His granddaughters and grandsons will forever cherish all the memories they made with him and all the time they spent with him.

Oscar is survived by his wife: Modesta Fuentes; his children: Marisol Fuentes, Oscar Fuentes Jr. and Omar Antonio Fuentes; his daughter in laws: Crystal Fuentes and Krystle Fuentes; his grandchildren: Dallarhi Analee Fuentes, Oscar Antonio Fuentes, Sofiah Marisol Fuentes, Khailey Analayah Fuentes, Riley Rae Fuentes and Omar Antonio Fuentes Jr.

Oscar was preceded in death by his parents: Ismael V. Fuentes † and Gloria R. Fuentes †.

A visitation for Oscar will be held Monday, June 10, 2024 from 3:00 PM to 9:00 PM with a Rosary at 7 pm in Chapel of Peace, at Funeraria del Angel Buena Vista, 125 Mcdavitt Blvd, Brownsville, Texas 78521. A mass will occur Tuesday, June 11, 2024 at 2:00 PM at St Eugene de Mazenod, 5409 Austin Rd, Brownsville, Texas 78521. A burial will occur Tuesday, June 11, 2024 at 3:00 PM at Buena Vista Burial Park, 5 Mcdavitt Blvd, Brownsville, Texas 78521.

Serving as Honorary pallbearer will be: Omar Antonio Fuentes. Serving as pallbearers will be: Juan Cardenas, Andres Treviño Jr. , Oscar Parra, Juan Garcia Jr, and Enrique Velez Jr.
