Oscar, 68 years of age, sadly passed away on January 31, 2024, with loved ones by his side, at the Spanish Meadows of Brownsville. He was born December 10, 1955, in Brownsville, Texas to his loving parents Dionicio Garza and Guadalupe Liendo Garza.
Oscar grew up in Brownsville, Texas, and lived his life to the fullest. He would often be heard saying, Life is Good! He lived in Spring, Texas for several years raising his family, and moved back to Brownsville, Texas to help with the care of his parents. Oscar loved to Bar-B-Que with friends and family, and often would volunteer at the Church. He was an amazing chili maker and won several contests to prove so! If he wasn’t making chili or Bar-B-Queuing, he would have been fishing on Boca Chica Beach. Fishing was his favorite past time. Oscar may not have had a lot, but he would give the shirt off his back if he could.
Oscar will be remembered as a loving Father, grandfather, great grandfather, brother and friend. He will be sorely missed.
