Marlene Vela, 59, passed away on February 18, 2024 in Warrensburg, MO. Marlene was known fo her loving personality and deep laughs. She loved to complete crossword puzzles, to pray the rosary daily, and to play loteria with her family.

Left to cherish her memory is her mother; Araceli Vela, Siblings; Sandy (Leonard), Jazmin (Timothy), Carlos Vela Jr., Nephews and nieces; Brandon, Stephen, Marie Christ, Danny, Carlitos, Araceli Vela, and Julian Martinez.

Her death was preceded by her father; Carlos Vela † and her sister; Patricia Vela †.

A visitation for Marlene will be held Wednesday, February 28, 2024 from 12:00 PM to 5:00 PM in Chapel of Peace at Funeraria del Angel Buena Vista, 125 Mcdavitt Blvd, Brownsville, Texas 78521. A Mass will be held Thursday, February 29, 2024 at 10:00am at Christ the King, 2255 Southmost Rd, Brownsville, TX 78521. Followed by a burial on Thursday, February 29, 2024 at 11:00 AM at Buena Vista Burial Park, 5 Mcdavitt Blvd, Brownsville, Texas 78521.
