She was born on Christmas Eve 1958 in Brownsville, Tx as a present to her mother, Dolores Hernandez. Where she was raised in Matamoros, Tamps., she quickly learned that hard work was the key to success. She helped raise her siblings and grew up to be a hardworking, loving individual. She served her community for over 15 years in downtown Brownsville as a server at the pharmacy/restaurant C&L where she brought great joy to many people from all walks of life. She was blessed with two sons, Tavo and Beto. Her most beloved passion was for the kitchen which was expressed through her delicious meals. Anyone that was lucky enough to taste her food knew her special ingredient was love. Although she lost her battle with cancer, she knew she completed her life's mission in raising two fine men that will carry out her life's teachings. She is no longer with us, but she lives through her two children, her family, and friends.
