Maria G Torres

Mrs. Torres worked at McDonalds for 27 years from and which she retired in 2002. She was a beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, mother-in-law, friend, and by those who knew her. Her favorite hobbies were playing bingo and loved caring for her grandchildren. Her faith, relationship, and love to Jesus Lord was above and beyond. She always greeted everyone with a loving heart and with open arms. She will be dearly missed but never forgotten. She will always remain in our hearts and minds with beautiful memories to cherish forever.

She is preceded in death by her mother, Maria E. Torres; brother, Federico Moreno; husband, Ramon F. Torres; son, Jesus Torres; and her daughter, Rashel Cuevas.

Maria G. Torres is survived by her sons, Juan Torres, Raymond Torres, Jose Torres, Manuel Torres, Jose G. Torres; 30 grandchildren, and 8 great-grandchildren.

Visitations started Thursday, July 11, 2013 from 11am-9pm and will continue today Friday, July 12, 2013 from 11am-10pm with a Rosary at 7pm at Funeraria Del Angel Buena Vista.

A Funeral Mass will take place Saturday, July 13, 2013 at 11am at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church located on 555 W Saint Francis St. in Brownsville, Tx with a committal service to follow at RoseLawn Memorial Gardens.

Serving as pallbearers will be, Juan Torres, Raymond Torres Jr., Jose Torres, Manuel Torres, Jose G. Torres, and Raymond Torres III. Honorary pallbearers will be Noe Martinez, Julian Torres, Daniel Torres, and Zabrina Torres.
