Maria is preceded in death by her parents, Gilberto Escobedo and Maria C. Hernandez; husband, Jaime A. Solis; sons, Jaime A. Solis and Sergio Solis; brother, Jose Escobedo.
She is survived by her sons, Adrian Solis and family, Eduardo Solis and family, Federico Solis and family; daughters, Laura E. Solis and family and Cristina A. Solis; brothers, Eduardo Escobedo and family, Alberto Escobedo and family, and Miguel Ruiz and family; sisters, Maria Alicia Escobedo and family, Maria Guadalupe Escobedo and family.
Visitation was held from 10 am to 9pm with the recitation of the Rosary at 7:30 pm on Saturday, September 24, 2011 and will continue today, Sunday, September 25, 2011 from 1 pm to 9 pm with the recitation of the Rosary at 7:00 pm at Funeraria Del Angel Buena Vista.
Mass of Resurrection will be held at 10 am on Monday, September 26, 2011 at Immaculate Concepcion Cathedral, 1218 East Jefferson St. Brownsville, TX with Blessings of her remains to follow on Wednesday, September 28, 2011 at 1:00 pm at Buena Vista Burial Park.
Serving as pallbearers will be Adrian Solis, Federico Solis, Eduardo Solis, Alberto Escobedo, Eduardo Escobedo, and Bill Tinning.
