Maria Del Carmen Longoria Parkitny

The family wishes to give special thanks to Alta Vista nurses and nurse aides for the special care they provided.

Mrs. Parkitny worked at Booth Fishers for 20 years and then moved to Galveston, TX where she worked for John Sealy Hospital for 7 years.

Mrs. Parkitny is preceded in death by her husband, Ben Parkitny; parents, Nicolas Longoria and Maria Clemencia Mendez.

She is survived by her sister Elena Longoria Morales; various nieces and nephews who will always thank her for her caring ways.

Visitation will be held from 4pm – 9 pm with a Rosary at 7 pm on Wednesday, October 19, 2011 at Funeraria Del Angel Buena Vista.

Chapel Service will be held at 10 am on Thursday, October 20, 2011 at Funeraria Del Angel Buena Vista with entombment to follow at Buena Vista Burial Park.

Serving as pallbearers will be Fernando Sanchez, Jr., Fernando Esteban Sanchez, Thomas Morales, Martin Morales, Daniel Morales and Ruben Morales.
