Mary “Chayito” as she was fondly known was a loving mother, wife, sister & aunt. She had a loved for life, enjoyed telling stories, jokes and always brighten the room she would enter. She worked at BISD for 15 years as a paraprofessional and was devoted to her students and that devotion & care was evident whenever she ran into one of her ex-students. Mary had a strong belief in God & her community, She was able to stay home and spent more time with her family and she enjoyed every moment of it. She had a great love for her children who were her pride & joy. If someone had to describe Mary, she was a person who was devoted to her; children, marriage and Christian vows.
She is preceded in death by her father, Jose Pedro Alaniz, sister Virginia Silva, Mother-in-law, Guillermina Gomez, three brother-in-laws, Juan, Benito & Rafael Gomez.
Left to cherish her memory is her Husband of 16 years, Guillermo Gomez, Daughters, Cheryl, Jackie, Kimberly, and Son, Ricardo Gomez. Her mother, Rosario Alaniz, sisters, Ninfa (Felix) Sacueda, Hermelinda Hernandez, Silva (Fred) Solis, and brothers, Joe Alaniz, Carlos (Carmen) Alaniz, Eddie (Sandra) Alaniz, Arturo (Virginia+) Silva.
She is also survived by her Father-in-law, Simon Gomez, Sisters-in-laws, Esther (Simon) Gamboa, Fela (Antonio) Ibarra, Guillermina Heffner. Brother-in-laws, Robert (Nadia) Gomez, Rodolfo (Lorena) Gomez, & Jorge Luis Gomez.
Plus Numerous Nephews & nieces.
Serving as pallbearer will be: Guillermo Gomez, Ricardo Gomez, Roberto Gomez. Gary Sauceda, Erick Solis & Rodolfo Gomez.
