Maria Guadalupe Escobedo

Maria Guadalupe Escobedo Cortez was born on March 8th 1927 in Brownsville, Texas. She is survived by her husband of 75 years, Felipe C. Escobedo Sr., her children: Felipe Escobedo Jr. (Patricia), Elias Escobedo (Lydia), Oralia Arteaga (Reynaldo), Graciela Rios (Juan), Olga Escobedo, Hector Escobedo (Betty), Carlos Escobedo, her 23 grand children and 18 great grandchildren.

She is also survived by her brother Paulo Builtron and sisters Josefina Builtron, Rogue Builtron Rodriguez, and Belia Builtron Garcia

She is preceded in death by her Father, Jesus Cortez and Mother, Juanita Malacara de Builtron, her daughter, Ester Escobedo, Daughter in law, Patricia Escobedo, brothers and sisters: Rumaldo, Federico, Ricardo Joel, and Espirio and Eustolia.

She was a devoted daughter, sister, wife, mother, and grandmother. She took joy and pride in her garden, and spending time with her growing family. She was loved by everyone and will be dearly missed. She put God and her faith always first and is joined in our father's name in Heaven.
