Rosario was preceded in death by her husband, Francisco R. Tamayo, parents Herlinda and Hilario Aguilar, a brother Hilario Aguilar Jr., 7 sisters: Leonor, Evangelina, Concepcion, Rafaela, Adeliada, Emerita, Guadalupe "Lupita A. Lopez" and a nephew Noe Lopez.
She is survived by a daughter Imelda T. Lopes a son Reynaldo Tamayo from Austin, Texas and a son-in-law Jose David Lopez, grandsons: Jacob Israel Lopez, John Christopher Tamayo, a niece Mary Lelia Lopez and her son Marco Esteban Lopez. She is also survived by her sister, Sister Mary Lelia Aguilar, nephews: Leonal "Lito" Lopez, William Lopez, and her provider of 5 years Veronica Hernandez who cared for her with lots of patience and love.
Her pallbearers will be Reynaldo Tamayo, Jacob Lopez, Marco Esteban Lopez, William Lopez, Leonel Lopez, and Derek Marcano.
