Maria Vidal Cienfuegos, 82, entered into eternal rest on Sunday, July 16, 2017 in Brownsville, TX. She is preceded in death by her parents; Mr. Lucas Cuevas and Natalia Rizo Serna; brothers, Basilio Cuevas and Vicente Cuevas. Mrs. Cienfuegos is survived by her husband of 64 years of marriage Francisco Cienfuegos Sr.; children, Francisco (Maria Elena) Cienfuegos Jr., Rene (Bertha) Cienfuegos, Octavio (Minerva) Cienfuegos, Marisela (Rafael) Gonzalez, Leticia Cienfuegos, Rodolfo (Ana Maria) Cienfuegos, Reynaldo (Tonya) Cienfuegos, Raul (Blanca) Cienfuegos and Alma (Guadalupe) Ponce; 45 grandchildren, 53 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild; sisters, Mrs. Remedios Cuevas and Mrs. Consuelo Cuevas. Visitation will be held from 1pm to 9pm with a rosary at 7pm Wednesday, July 19, 2017 at Funeraria del Angel Buena Vista. Mass will be held at 10am Thursday, July 20, 2017 at Christ the King Catholic Church committal service will follow at RoseLawn Memorial Gardens.
