Maria Irene Chavez

She is preceded in death by her husband Manuel Chavez, son Manuel Chavez, Jr and parents Sergio Piña & Gregoria Piña Sierra, Sister Flemerina and Brother Filemon.

She is survived by her loving Children: Irma Rivera, Oralia Keller (Donald), Maria Chavez (Jose Antonio Rodriguez), Ildifonso Chavez (Odelia), Juan Manuel Chavez (Mayra), Arturo Chavez (Corina) and Alejandro Chavez Ross (Justin). Her siblings Ofelio, Artemio, Ma Guadalupe, Eustacia, Maria Belen, Martina Delfina and Martiniano. Also, to treasure many memories are her Grandchildren Erica Irene Chavez, Jose Antonio Rodriguez Jr, Ildifonso Manuel Chavez, Alejandra Maria Rodriguez, Daniel Arthur Chavez, Jeremy Kyle Chavez, Veronica Sandra Chavez, Nadia Maria Chavez, Arturo Manuel Chavez, Jadie Natalia Chavez, Julian Manuel Chavez and Great Grandchildren Mateo Carrillo, Grace Lynn Chavez and Rose Marie Chavez.

Visitation for Maria will be held Tuesday, February 4, 2025 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM with recitation of the Holy Rosary at 7:00 pm in Chapel of Peace at Funeraria Del Angel Buena Vista, 125 Mcdavitt Blvd, Brownsville, TX 78521. A Chapel Funeral Service will be held Wednesday, February 5, 2025 at 12:00 PM with burial to follow immediately at Buena Vista Burial Park.
