Margarito Lee Gonzalez

Margarito Lee Gonzalez age 82 passed away Wednesday November 29th, 2023. Lee was loved by all who's lives he touched. Having a distinguished Military Career, he used his love for God, family and country to mentor many young future leaders. He left a lasting mark on the lives of those who were fortunate enough to know him. He was inspirational, motivating, and hardworking. He will be missed dearly.

Margarito is survived by his wife, Elvira Alicia Gonzalez; his daughter Sylvia Graebe; his daughter Carmen Gonzalez; his son Julio Cesar Gutierrez; his daughter Laura Veronica Gonzalez; and his son Alexander Gutierrez; his sister Amelia Gonzalez Mayorga, his brother Eliseo Alex Gonzalez Jr, his sister Ida Gonzalez Chandler, his brother Jaime Gonzalez, his brother Cesar Gonzalez, his brother Ezequiel Zeke Gonzalez, his sister Graciela Gonzalez Araguz and his sister Josefina Josie Gonzalez Dodd.

Margarito was preceded in death by his father Eliseo Gonzalez; his mother Juanita Torres and his step-mother Maria Elvia Gonzalez; his sister Maria Elena Plog; his brother Alberto Gonzalez; his brother Guadalupe Gonzalez; his brother Norberto Gonzalez and his brother Norberto Noe Gonzalez.

Margarito Lee Gonzalez also leaves behind 10 grandchildren to cherish his memory.

A visitation for Margarito will be held Monday, December 4, 2023 from 1:00 PM to 9:00 PM with a prayer service at 7:00 pm at Funeraria Del Angel Buena Vista, 125 Mcdavitt Blvd, Brownsville, TX 78521. A chapel service will occur Tuesday, December 5, 2023 at 10:00 AM at Funeraria Del Angel Buena Vista. A burial will occur Tuesday, December 5, 2023 at 11:00 AM at Buena Vista Burial Park, 5 Mcdavitt Blvd, Brownsville, TX 78521.
