He is preceded in death by his parents, Cecilio and Rita G. Alvarado and a sister, Rosa Zuniga.
Mr. Alvarado will be dearly missed by his loving wife, Elsa Alvarado; daughters, Laurie, Amy, Nancy and Erika Alvarado. He is also survived by 5 sisters, Maria Muñoz, Graciela Moreno, Celia Pizaña, Rita Moreno and Estela Alvarado.
Visitation will be held today Thursday, May 15, 2014 from 10:00a.m. to 9:00p.m. with a Recitation of the Holy Rosary at 7:00pm at Funeraria Del Angel Buena Vista. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Friday, May 16, 2014 at 10:00am at Christ the King Catholic Church with Committal Service to follow at Buena Vista Burial Park.
Full Military honors will be conducted by the American Legion Post 43 Veterans Honor Guard.
