The family of Lee Roy Naranjo is saddened by the death of their father, brother and friend. Lee Roy was born in Brownsville and grew up on a farm near Olmito, where he mastered the love of farming, hunting and fishing. Lee Roy attended Pace High School and was involved in the swim team and was crowned the prom King. At his 20th reunion he was crowned “The classmate that never changed.” Lee Roy worked as a farmer, the U.S. Post Office and most recently was self-employed. Lee Roy was sharply intelligent, generous to a fault, compassionate, sensitive and he loved and lived life to the fullest. Lee Roy was known for randomly buying meals for the homeless.
