Juan Antonio Torres

Juan Antonio Torres “Tony Torres” will be missed by many. He touched the lives of so many of us with his big heart and kindness. He will be remembered by the young and old, rich and poor. He dedicated his life to helping and teaching baseball to the little ones and riding a horse for the first time. He will be remembered by the elderly whom he made their lives a little easier in one way or another. For Tony no task was impossible or difficult. “Because God wants me to”, was his motto. Tony you will be missed immensely.

Mr. Torres is preceded in death by his father Antonio Alonzo Torres and his son Steven Rodriguez.

Left to cherish his memory are his mother Lupita (Socrates) Mastro; his loving wife Rose Ivonne Torres; his daughter Antoniette Torres; his sons Justin Torres, John Anthony Torres and Michael Torres; his sisters Maria Isabel Mithani ( William F. Prall), Graciela Torres and Sylvia (David) Nave; his loving grandchildren, nieces, nephews and loving friends.

The visitation will take place on Thursday, June 13, 2013 beginning at 11am until 9pm with a Holy Rosary to be recited at 7pm at Funeraria Del Angel.

A Chapel Service will be conducted at 10am on Friday, June 14, 2013 at Funeraria Del Angel Buena Vista.

Serving as pallbearers will be Justin Torres, Michael Torres, Danny Barrera, Mathew Nave, Travis Nave and Louis Nave.
