He was long time shrimper, worked at UTB/TSC for the Maintenance Dpt. and was also a member of BOYSA.

Mr. Gonzalez is preceded in death by his brother, Jesus (Little Kuate) Gonzalez.

He is survived by his sons, Juan Gonzalez Jr., Jacobo Gonzalez, Jonas Gonzalez, Joshua Gonzalez; daughter, Meledy J. Gonzalez; granddaughter, Kaylee J. Gonzalez; father, Roberto Gonzalez; mother, Julia Gonzalez; brothers, Roberto Gonzalez Jr., Rigoberto Gonzalez, Humberto Gonzalez, Jose Gonzalez, Jesus “Jessie” Gonzalez; sisters, Armandina Lerma, Julia Gonzalez and Perla Arreola; numerous nephews and nieces.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, August 14, 2012 from 8am – 9pm with a prayer service at 7pm at

Funeraria Del Angel Buena Vista.

A chapel service will be held on Wednesday, August 15, 2012 at 1pm at Funeraria Del Angel Buena Vista with interment to follow at Buena Vista Burial Park.

Serving as pallbearers will be Javier Lerma Sr., Javier Lerma Jr., Angel Arreola, George Martinez, Roberto Gonzalez III and Antonio Gonzalez. Honorary pallbearers will be his nephews.
