Jose, was like a brother to me. I think of him all the time. I served with Jose at ST6 and in Panama. He was liked and respected by all who knew him and who served with him. Some of my fondest memories in the Navy are because I was with Jose. May you RIP my friend.  You left us too soon and I will foreaver have you in my heart.

I am so sad to hear of Patti's passing and now yours.  In and out of Mexico a lot and you are always on my mind.  Blessings to you, Patricia and your families.  AMEN.

I served with Jose in Panama City Fl. back in the mid 1980's.  Just an all around great guy and great influence.  You will be missed my brother.

We were classmates at the Navy's Hull Tech "A" school...he would help me with my swimming as I was preparing to go to dive school after graduation...we served briefly together in Panama...good man.

A team guy from day one. I went through BUD/S with Jose and he was, even then, the quiet professional--always getting things done and never uttering a complaint.  His career that followed says it all.  God speed amigo.

Jose was a great man in many ways. I learned a lot from Jose after many years working together. We carried out many missions together, in El Salvador (80') and in Panama (89'). After retirement, we also worked together for many years. I will miss him everyday, Hooyah, Julio Gomez Class 103.

I believe that God arranged for Jose and I to first link up in the late '90s. Though separated by distance, we got together from time to time and remained friends for these past 20 years. I was glad to have had the opportunity to speak into his life during some tough times, as I know that he spoke into mine. My daughter viewed him as part of our extended family. He will be sorely missed here. Fair winds...

I was saddened to hear about Senior Chief Trevino's passing.  He was a great influence to a young EN2 going to some troubles in Panama.  He was a great advisor, shipmate, and person.  His leadership kept me going during those hard times, and I'm blessed to have meet such a wonderful person.  Forever in my heart Senior, My mentor.  Always

I was saddened to hear that Jose had passed. He was an amazing, kind, and generous man. I met Jose in 2000 when he visited the branch I managed and we became fast friends. Over the years I had the privilege of knowing him and Patty. I know there are no words to adequately express my condolences. Losing a son; losing a brother; losing a Dad is painful, no matter the circumstances. I wish that I was able to visit and hug your neck and share my memories with you! God Bless you all in this sorrowful time. His life was way too short and he will be missed.

Albert and I went to school together.
He was always in a good mood, friendly to all.
Didn't stay in touch afterwards, but my respect for his service to our country. May his loved ones find solace in the memories he left us with. God be with all of his family in this time of sorrow. May Albert rest in peace in the house of our Lord, in Jesus name I pray.

Jose and I went through Green Team together. He worked hard, played hard, did everything asked at all times with enthusiasm. Later I remember him going on some missions to some very unstable areas. He fit in, never had an excuse or a problem, did what he was asked to do every time successfully.  So sorry to hear of his passing. A very good SEAL and a very good teammate.

I'm sorry to learn of this sad news.  I only met him a time or two, when I was assigned to Special Boat Squadron TWO, in Virginia. He was a good man, and was well liked and respected by everyone who met him.  I'm sorry I couldn't make it to the Memorial Service, but I learned of his passing after the service had already taken place.  My sincere prayers are with the entire family at this time.   "Que Dios los bendiga!"

Jose was a Chiefs Chief. As a leader he did it from the front. I crossed paths with Jose a few times and operated with him in Central and South America. He had a deep respect for the job and the men that worked under him and many of us had great admiration for him and will always remember him fondly. You have my prayers for Gods mercy, healing and understanding.

I remember living behind Jose, Patty and Draeger (their dog) in Panama City.   Jose would share the awesome tamales his Mom would send from Brownsville on the Greyhound Bus (in 1983-1985 that was quite the feat).  Served with him again later on.  Sad and stunned to hear of Jose's passing.  Rest In Peace Teammate.

I just learned of Jose's crossing over, my sincere condolences to his familia. I first met Jose at SBU 26 in Panama, he was always the consummate professional and someone us DBG/Riverine guys always looked up to. I send my sincere condolences to the entire Trevino family.  Even while knowing of his illness, the news of Jose's passing still came as a surprise and saddened many of his teammates and friends.  Well respected and loved by his Navy SEAL teammates, he will never be forgotten.  May God comfort and bless all.

I just now learned of Jose's passing, and my heart goes out to his family and friends.  For part of our careers we were teammates, and other times we shared adventures in Panama, Colombia and Peru.  Regardless of the circumstances, I knew that he always had my back.  As a leader and a teammate, he made a difference in hundreds of people's lives.  Sad Hooyah's to un guerrero valiente.

My condolences to the Trevino family. Albert and I were very good friends.  Not just I but all of our friends are very proud of him due to his military accomplishments and the explemary service to our country.  Without men like him our freedom would be lost.  I am sorry that I will not be able to attend the memorial as I am currently out of the state.  I salute you my special friend.
