Jose Alberto “Betin” Trevino,61, Is preceded in death by his wife: Patricia Crawford Trevino, father: Alberto G. Trevino, niece: Jennifer Trevino, uncle: Julian Silva, grandmother: Celfa R. Silva. He is survived by mother: Juanita S. Trevino, daughter: Michelle (Mark) Leary, brother: Arturo (Carmen) Trevino, Guillermo (Maria) Trevino, sister: Laura (David) Rodriguez, Norma (Santana) Torres, Sandra (Bobby) Rocha. Nephews, nieces and other extended family members. Albert was born in Monterrey Mexico and raised in Brownsville, Texas. Albert graduated from Brownsville High in 1973. He joined the Navy in 1975 and achieved the rank of Command Master Chief. He served in Seal Teams 2 and 6 where his teammates knew him as Crowbar. After retiring in 2010, he continued to work closely with the navy family. Throughout his career he traveled the world and contributed to many military operations. He was proud of his service and enjoyed sharing his stories with family and friends. He married the love of his life Patricia Crawford in 1985. After her death in 2010, he returned home to Brownsville. Jose will be remembered as a hero to not only his country but also his friends and family. Memorial Service will be held Saturday 18 2017 at 12pm at Our Lady of Gaudalupe Catholic Church, Military Honors will be conducted by Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 2035.
