Jose Rosas

Jose "Joey" was a loving brother and cherished uncle who was always a central part of the family. He spent his whole life in Brownsville dedicating himself to caring for family and maintaining our roots here. He was hard working and quick to laugh and unwaveringly loyal. He will be greatly missed. Love You "Joey"

Jose is survived by his siblings Rodolfo Rosas, Damiana Rosas, Gloria Cruz, Claudia Zamarripa and Martha Ann Quintanilla.

Jose was preceded in death by his father Sr. Dimas Rosas and his mother Servanda Flores Rosas, his siblings Rosalinda Ortiz, Paula Alvarado, Dimas Jr. Rosas, Victor Rosas and Baby Delia Rosas.

A visitation for Jose will be held Wednesday, November 8, 2023, from 1:00 PM to 9:00 PM with a rosary at 7:00 PM at Funeraria Del Angel Buena Vista, 125 Mcdavitt Blvd., Brownsville, TX 78521. A mass will occur Thursday, November 9, 2023, at 10:00 AM at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 555 W. St. Francis St., Brownsville, TX 78520 followed by a burial at 11:00 AM at Buena Vista Burial Park, 5 Mcdavitt Blvd., Brownsville, TX 78521.

Serving as pallbearers are Daniel Ed. Zamarripa, Luis Daniel Ruiz, Rudy Jr. Rosas, Santos M. Zamarripa and honorary pallbearer Santos Zamarripa.
