He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother.

He is survived by his loving wife of 23 years, Irene Martinez; sons and daughters, Baldomero Martinez, Eujenio Martinez, Jose Martinez, Jr., Yolanda Martinez and Maria Del Rosario Martinez; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; brothers, Arnulfo Martinez, Aurelio Martinez, Remigio Martinez, Jesus Maria Martinez and Alberto Martinez; sisters, Esperanza Martinez, Margarita Martinez and Juanita Martinez.

Visitation will be held from 12pm to 9pm on Thursday, June 10, 2010 with a rosary at 7:00pm at Funeraria Del Angel Buena Vista.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10am on Friday, June 11, 2010 at Good Shepherd Catholic Church 2645 Tulipan St. Brownsville, Texas.

Rite of Committal to follow at Buena Vista Burial Park.
