Mr. Cano had a loving wife of 54 years that was always by his side 24/7 while he was battling his illness to his very last breath. He loved making salsa de chile, loved eating cabrito and seafood, and enjoyed cooking for his family every Sunday.
Jesus “Chuy” Cruz Cano is preceded in death by his loving parents, Jose Guadalupe Garibay Cano, and Rumalda Cruz Cano, and his brother, Rogelio Cruz Cano.
Mr. Cano is survived by his loving wife of 54 years, Irene Garcia Cano; his six children, Jesse “Yune” Cano Jr., (Belinda; that he loved like another daughter), Linda Garcia (Raul), Ruby Cano, Denis Cano (Diana), Sam Cano (Rachel), and Cheryl Flores (Cesar); his sister, Berta Herrera from Los Angeles, his eleven grandchildren, Misty Heredia (Bob), Raul Cano Garcia Jr., Linda Lizette Garcia, Erik Cano Gallardo, Denis Anthony Cano (Elizabeth), Raoul Manny Garcia, Jeremy Dominique Garcia, Deanna Alyssa Cano, Daisy Arlene Cano, Cezar Alejando “Alex” Flores, and Cheryl Alejandra “Cherry” Flores; his four great grandchildren, Robert Tristan Heredia, Tyler Benedict Heredia, Travis Achilles Heredia, Kaydence Grace “KG” Gallardo; his beloved pet companion, Frenchie Cano; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held Monday, April 21, 2014 from 10:00a.m. to 9:00p.m. with a Rosary to be conducted at 7:00p.m. at Funeraria Del Angel Buena Vista.
Mass will be held Tuesday, April 22, 2014 at 10:00a.m. at Christ the King Catholic Church located on 2255 Southmost Road followed by a committal service at Buena Vista Burial Park.
Serving as Pallbearers will be, Denis Cano, Denis Anthony Cano, Erik Cano Gallardo, Raul Cano Garcia Jr., Raul Garcia, Raoul Manny Garcia, Jeremy Dominique Garcia, and Cesar Alejandro Flores.
Serving as Honorary Pallbearers will be Jesse Cano Jr., Belinda Cano, Linda Garcia, Ruby Cano, Cheryl Flores, and Sam Cano.
