Jeff was born in Uniontown, Pennsylvania on December 23, 1958. He served in the US Air Force for 24 years between 1986 to 2010 when he retired from active service. He served in Operation Desert Shield/Desert Storm, Operation Enduring Freedom, helped in search and rescue of the Oklahoma City Bombing and the search and rescue of the Pentagon after September 11 terrorist attacks. He is a graduate of Laurel Highlands High School in Uniontown, PA. While at Laurel Highlands Highschool, he had a stellar baseball career and was recruited to go pro with the the Kansas City Royals. He was married to his loving wife of 28 years and entered eternal rest with her by his side.
He was a member of Our Lord of Divine Mercy Church in Brownsville, TX.
He was a lifetime member of American Veterans; and member of American Legion; Veterans of Foreign Wars; and Disabled American Veterans.
Jeffrey is survived by his loving wife, Maria De Lourdes DeCarlo; his brother Douglas DeCarlo (Mary Lee), his sister Jennifer Mosier (Danny) and his brother Bruce DeCarlo.
Jeffrey was preceded in death by his mother Mary L. DeCarlo † and his father Francis W. DeCarlo †; his brother David DeCarlo †.
Also left to cherish his memory numerous nieces and nephews.
A visitation for Jeffrey will be held Thursday, December 15, 2022 from 2:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Funeraria del Angel Buena Vista, 125 Mcdavitt Blvd, Brownsville, Texas 78521. A chapel service will occur Friday, December 16, 2022 at 10:00 AM, 125 Mcdavitt Blvd, Brownsville, Texas 78521. A burial will occur Friday, December 16, 2022 at 11:00 AM at Buena Vista Burial Park, 5 Mcdavitt Blvd, Brownsville, Texas 78521.
