We were so fortune of getting to meet this lovely lady she always showed us so much love when we would see her ...we could feel the love she had for us.  The day you arrived to your house there was a moment we made eye contact and we both wave to each other and you just smiled like you would always do thank you for loving us 💓💓

Voy a extrañar tu sonrisa de cuando yo salia con mis ocurrencias y hacerte tu nopalitos gracias suegra por henseñarme a hacerte tu atolito que era lo que te encantaba....Te voy a extrañar mucho ❤

Words will never fully capture the emotions I experienced when hearing someone I love and respect had passed away.

Tia Imelda has always been a part of my life growing up.  So I always knew how kind, generous, and loving she truly was.  This past summer I had the opportunity to spend time with her when we traveled to Florida.  I will never forget that trip.  It will always have a special place in my heart...not because of the destination we visited but because of what she taught me.  You see, during that time, her health was failing, yet that didn't deter her from traveling and living life to the fullest.

Even though there were a lot of setbacks during that trip, there were also lots of laughter and insightful conversations. And just when I thought I knew her, she still managed to show me another side of her.

In moments of discomfort, she remained resilient.
In moments of exasperation, she remained calm.
In moments of despair, she remained hopeful.

I will miss tia Imelda...like all of us will.  But, I take great comfort in knowing that a piece of her remains inside each of her daughters and sons and the memories she gifted us will continue to live inside our hearts.

I can't possibly imagine the pain the Lozano family is going through.  And even if words don't fully capture the emotions I feel about the Lozano family and the loss of tia Imelda, I still want to say "We love you all.  And, we are all grieving along with you".
