Guadalupe or Doña Lupita as she was affectionately called, was loved by so many. She lived a beautiful and full life as a mother, grandmother and great grandmother who poured her love into everyone. Her fondest and happiest memories included her time working on the fields with her husband and family. She enjoyed reminiscing with her children and grandchildren about "esos tiempos tan bonitos." While she loved spending time with her family, she also liked to watch novelas, play loteria and enjoy her coffee every morning. She loved gardening and tending to her many plants. She could be found outside most mornings ensuring that all of her plants were well taken care of. Her family grieves her loss tremendously, but takes comfort in knowing that she has been reunited with her love after 18 years. She was a strong woman of faith and the family knows she is rejoicing with her loved ones in heaven.
2 Corinthians 5:6-8
Therefore we are always confident and know that as long as we are at home in the body we are away from the Lord. For we live by faith, not by sight. We are confident, I say, and would prefer to be away from the body and at home with the Lord.
