He loved football and was a passionate Cowboys fan.
Mr. Frausto was a Korean War Veteran and worked for the Port of Brownsville and retired after 32 years. He is preceded in death by his parents, Santiago and Elvira Frausto; son, Hector Frausto; sister, Guadalupe Pena; brothers, Luis Frausto, Sr., and Raul Frausto.
He is survived by his wife, Maria Frausto; son, Graciano Juan (Juanita) Frausto; daughters, Delia (Juan) Aguilar, Belinda Frausto, Armandina (Vicente) Reyes, and Eva Elena Ovalle Marquez step-daughter; 9 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; brothers, Jimmy Frausto and Ruben Frausto; sister, Julia.
Visitation will be held on, Tuesday, February 5, 2013 from 11 am – 9 pm with a rosary at 7pm at Funeraria Del Angel Buena Vista.
Funeral Mass will be held Wednesday February 6, 2013 at 10am at good Shepherd Catholic Church at 2645 Tulipan with burial to follow to Buena Vista Burial Park.
Military Honors will be conducted by American Legion Post 43, under the command of Raul Leal.
Serving as pallbearers will be, Eduardo Frausto, Sr., Eduardo Frausto, Jr., Vicente Reyes, Jr., Gilbert Reyes, Noe Frausto and Carlos Fernandez de Lara.
