Gloria Lopez

She is preceded in death by her daughter, Imelda Herrera; parents, Guadalupe and Francisca Lopez; her sisters, Margarita L. Rodriguez and Paulita L. Almazan; and brother Guadalupe Lopez Jr.

Left to cherish her memory are her sisters, Amelia L. Anaya (Miguel), Irene Lopez, Maria Lopez, ((Francisca Longoria (Gonzalo), and Josepha L. Cruz, from Florida); and her brothers Benito Lopez and Leandro Lopez from Brownsville, Tx. Along with numerous nephews and nieces.

Tia Gloria will be terribly missed, she was a woman with a beautiful heart and an undying faith. She was a wonderful mother, sister, and aunt to all. She was kind, helpful and very warm hearted. She loved to take care of her garden. Tending to her roses was one of her biggest joys. An amazing cook and great story teller. Her smile warmed every one. She was the number one fan of all her kids. She passed away surrounded by her loving family and she will always be in our hearts.

Visitations will start today, Sunday, August 11, 2013 from 10am-9pm with a rosary at 7pm at Funeraria Del Angel Buena Vista.

Mass service will be held at 11am on Monday, August 12, 2013 at Christ the King Catholic Church located in 2255 Southmost Rd. in Brownsville, Tx. with committal service to follow at Buena Vista Burial Park.

Serving as pallbearers will be Sr. Miguel Anaya, Miguel Anaya Jr., Gonzalo Longoria, Sr. Ricardo Gracia, Ricardo Gracia Jr., and Frank Mason.
