She is preceded in death by her parents, Jesus Antonio Guzman and Carmen Alvarado; her brother Matias Salas; and her sisters, Maria del Carmen Salas-Vasquez and Patricia Sandra Salas.

Gloria G. Castro is survived by her husband Faustino Castro Jr. her sons, Faustino Castro III (Christina De Los Reyes-Castro), Abelardo Castro (Norma Gutierrez-Castro), and Raul Castro; daughters, Belinda Castro and Dora Castro-Lopez (Juan Lopez); and a total of 12 grandchildren.

Visitations will be held Friday, July 26, 2013 from 2pm to 10pm with a rosary at 7pm at Funeraria Del Angel Buena Vista.

A funeral mass will be held on Saturday, July 27, 2013 at 12pm at Christ the King Catholic Church on 2255 Southmost Rd. with committal service to follow at Buena Vista Burial Park.

Serving as Pallbearers will be Faustino Castro III, Abelardo Castro, Raul Castro, Abelardo Castro Jr., Christian D. Castro, Juan Lopez, Jose A. Rodriguez, and Oscar Peña. Serving as honorary pallbearers will be Marco J. Castro and Austin J. Castro.
