Retired Master Sergeant Felipe De Jesus Villarreal, Jr., of Brownsville, Texas, left this earth on the 26th of June, 2021 at Valley Baptist Medical Center. He was only 70 years young and was taken too soon.
Retired Master Sergeant Villarreal distinguished himself by serving over 22 years in the United States Army. He served in Vietnam, Thailand, South Korea, Germany, Fort Huachuca, and Fort Hood from 1970 - 1992. His time in the military helped him become the man we all knew and loved. He was stern yet loving and always did his best to take care of everyone he knew. He never accepted a handout from anyone and always expected the best out of you. He was the type of person who would tell you the hard truth when others might shy away. He lived his life to the fullest and can truly say he did everything his way.
A visitation for Felipe will be held Monday, July 5, 2021 from 1:00 PM to 9:00 PM with a rosary at 7pm at Funeraria del Angel Buena Vista in Chapel of Peace, 125 Mcdavitt Blvd, Brownsville, Texas 78521.
