On February 3, 1990, the Lord blessed our family with a baby girl whom we christened, Erica Danielle Cisneros. She attended Egly, Vermillion, Gonzalez, Stell and Pace High School where she befriended many people. During her school years, she participated in choir, drill team, drama and competed in various events in Special Olympics for which she won numerous trophies and medals. In her spare time, she enjoyed spending time with family and friends, reading, surfing the internet and cheering for her favorite sports teams, the San Antonio Spurs and the Dallas Cowboys.
On August 5, 2011, Erica went home to be with our Lord and Savior. She is preceded in death by her maternal great-grandfather, Felix Covarrubias, Sr., maternal great-grandparents, Ramiro and Rosa Salinas, uncles, Roel Covarrubias, Fernando Cisneros, Jr. and Jose Guadalupe Cisneros.
Erica will be greatly missed for the joy and laughter she brought to her family and all those she touched throughout her life.
Left to treasure her memory are her parents, Hugo and Rebecca Cisneros; siblings, Samantha Cisneros, and Hugo Alejandro “Alex” Cisneros; paternal grandparents, Fernando and Maria Cisneros; maternal grandparents, Refugio “Cookie” Covarrubias and Lupita Ruvalcaba, numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
