Daniel Tucker Marcha, passed away on Friday, December 15, 2017 peacefully at 7 p.m. in Brownsville, Texas at the age of 67. He is survived by his three children Albert Tucker Marchan of Ashdown, Arkansas, Melissa Danielle Nattiel of Dallas, Texas, and Dayna Jaye Lee of Greenville, South Carolina. His six siblings Pedro (Sylvia) Centeno of Perry, Georgia, Deborah (Fred) Madzinski of Buda, Texas, Marshall Marchan of Brownsville, Texas, Theodore (Susie) Marchan of Brownsville, Texas, James (Rosalinda) Marchan of Boerne, Texas and Patricia (Jaime) Cavazos of Brownsville. His Grandchildren are Yanelle Nattiel, Khayari Nattiel, and Abel Lee. Daniel Tucker Marchan was born on August 3, 1950 in Brownsville, Texas to Zulema Elizondo Marchan and Daniel Marchan Sr. He graduated from Pan American University in 1973 with a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration. Dan excelled academically in all sports and made all District and Allstate in baseball and softball at Brownsville High School. He played baseball for Pan American University and tried out for the Kansas Royals in the Houston Astrodome. His children remember him as a driven father who encouraged them to pursue their goals. Visitation will be held from 1 p.m. to 9 p.m. Sunday, December 17, 2017 with the prayer service conducted at 7 p.m. at Funeraria Del Angel Buena Vista. Chapel Service will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, December 18, 2017 at Funeraria Del Angel Buena Vista with Burial to follow at Buena Vista Burial Park. Serving as Pallbearers per his wishes will be Patrick Marchan, Fred Delgado, Robert Little, Rusty Brechot, Judge Ben Uresti, and Ernesto Gamez Jr.. The family would like to thank all doctors and nursing staff at Valley Regional Medical Center.
