Charles William Lashua (Charlie / Cheerios) went to be with the Lord on February 11, 2023 at the age of 75. He was born in Spokane, Washington. Charles was adopted by Dale and Dorothy Lashua. In Charles early life, he served as a missionary with his parents, traveling throughout the U.S. and Puerto Rico. Despite his hardships, Charles was a happy person with a gentle and caring spirit. He was beloved father and grandfather. Charles loved nothing more than being surrounded by family. He leaves an immense void and will be deeply missed.
Charles is survived by his ex wife, Monica O. Ramirez "Candy", son Charles David Lashua, daughter Monique Lashua Reyes (Jay Reyes), daughter Brianna Lashua, grandchildren Tyler James Martin, Katya Celeste Reyes and Liam Sebastian Reyes.
Charles was preceded in death by his father Dale Lashua and mother Dorothy Paulson Lashua.
A visitation for Charles will be held Thursday, February 16, 2023 from 4:00 PM to 12:00 AM at Funeraria Del Angel Rose Lawn. A continued visitation will occur Friday, February 17, 2023 from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Funeraria Del Angel Rose Lawn. A chapel service will be held at 12:00 PM at Funeraria Del Angel Rose Lawn followed by a burial at 1:00 PM at Rose Lawn Memorial Gardens, 4464 Old Port Isabel Rd., Brownsville, TX., 78526.
Serving as pallbearers are Charles David Lashua, Gerardo Daniel Llamas, Jay Reyes and Jose Cruz.
