Billy Joe Menard, Jr.

Billy was a graduate of Lopez High School. He attended Blinn College in Bryan, Texas and was previously employed at Village Foods. He was an avid fisherman and hunter and enjoyed restoring vehicles. He enjoyed being with his family and was a loyal brother and loyal friend. Billy was loved by many and will be missed by all.

He is preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Lorenzo Del Bosque and his paternal grandfather, C.D. Menard.

Billy is survived by his mother, Leticia Menard; father, Billy Joe Menard; stepmother, Carmen Menard; sisters, Tanya Menard, Sarah Menard and Bailey Menard; brothers, Shane Menard and Jack Menard; stepsister, Eva Coronado; stepbrother, Joshua Cuellar; maternal grandmother, Juanita Del Bosque; paternal grandmother, Berta Menard; uncles, Lorenzo Del Bosque, Jr. and Joseph Menard; aunts, Sandy Romero and Drucilla Menard and numerous cousins.

Visitation will be held from 12pm to 9pm with a recitation of the Holy Rosary at 7pm on Tuesday, October 18, 2011 at Funeraria Del Angel Buena Vista.

A chapel service will be held at 10am on Wednesday, October 19, 2011 with a committal service to follow at Buena Vista Burial Park.

Serving as pallbearers will be Lorenzo Del Bosque, Jr., Joseph Menard, Kenneth Romero, Joshua Cuellar, William Torres, E.J. Torres, Juan Saenz and Mel Garcia.
