She was a very hard working, strong headed person who cared for everyone. She was very giving and loved to be cooking for her family, friends and neighbors. She loved spending quality time with her family and mainly her grandchildren. She loved being outside with her plants all the time. She was a devoted Catholic and a member of St. Eugenio Catholic Church, where she was a member of the Guadalupanas Club. She also enjoyed helping in the annual Kermes for the church for many years. She will be dearly missed by all her family and friends.
Aurora is survived by her daughter Veronica H. Vera, son Osvaldo Vera, daughter Marina V. Leal (Raul), sister Martha Hernandez, sister Mercedes Hernandez Yañez, brother Antonio Hernandez, brother Jose Luis Hernandez, grandson Benjamin J. Camacho, granddaughter Destiny D. Ham, granddaughter Mia C. Leal, granddaughter Marissa C. Leal, nephew Kenny E. Hernandez, niece Gracie Smith (Carl), niece Blanca E. Vega (Fernando), niece Esmeralda Cisneros (Juan), niece Susie Hernandez, niece Jessica Hernandez, niece Trinity Smith, niece Amabeli Vega, nephew Julian Vega, nephew Esteban Vega, niece Maddie Cisneros, nephew Aiden Cisneros and niece Kennedy E. Hernandez.
Aurora was preceded in death by her daughter Sandra V. Camacho; father Antonio Hernandez Felizardo and mother Enedina Mata de Hernandez; brother Francisco Hernandez; brother Mario Hernandez; brother Enrique Hernandez and sister Maria Esther Hernandez.
A visitation for Aurora will be held Thursday, July 27, 2023 from 2:00 PM to 12:00 AM Friday, July 28, 2023 at Funeraria Del Angel Buena Vista in Chapel of Angels. A rosary will occur Thursday, July 27, 2023 at 7:00 PM at Funeraria Del Angel Buena Vista in Chapel of Angels. A chapel service will occur Friday, July 28, 2023 at 10:00 AM at Funeraria Del Angel Buena Vista in Chapel of Angels followed by a burial at 11:00 AM at Buena Vista Burial Park.
Serving as pallbearers are Osvaldo Vera, Antonio Hernandez, Jose Luis Hernandez, Raul Leal, Kenny E. Hernandez, Benjamin J. Camacho, Carl Smith, Cesar Castañeda and Juan Cisneros.
