Arturo Leal

Arturo Leal, 65, entered into eternal rest on Saturday, October 28, 2017, at his home in Brownsville Tx, leaving behind an extended family to cherish his memory. “Tio Tu” as he was affectionately known by his Great-nephews and nieces, was a hard working and independent man who was always willing to lend a helping hand and kind words to those around him. He loved spending time with his neighbors, friends and family, and was very strong in his faith in God. He will be sorely missed by those he loved, but we find peace knowing he is finally reunited with his beloved mother Felipa.

Arturo is preceded in death by his father; Gilberto Leal, mother; Felipa Leal, brother; Roberto "Bobby" Leal, and his sister; Margarita Joya. Left to cherish his memory are his brother; Gilberto Leal, sister; Nora (Ismael) Martinez, sister; Camelia (Arnoldo) Garza and brother; Sergio (Maria Elena) Leal. As well as his nieces, nephews, and Great-nieces and nephews. Serving as pallbearers will be Sergio Leal, Juan Carlos Alvarado Jr., LeeRoy Garza, Roberto Garza, Gilberto Leal, Ricardo Leal, Joel Martinez, and Saul Martinez. "He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds." -Psalm 147:3.

Visitation will take place on Wednesday, November 1, 2017 from 11am to 9pm with a Rosary at 7pm at Funeraria Del Angel Buena Vista. Mass will be held on Thursday, November 2, 2017 at 3pm at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church followed by an interment at Buena Vista Burial Park.
