Armando Rodriguez

Armando will always be remembered by many for the love and kindness that he gave to all. He will be greatly missed not only by his family, but by so many people that were impacted by his caring ways. He always helped those in need. He was a leader. He respected others and was respected by all who knew him. Armando is now resting in the presence of our Lord Jesus Christ, joined by his loved ones who have also passed on to their eternal life.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Manuel and Lucila Rodriguez; sister, Olga Martinez; niece, Dolores Izaguirre and nephew, George A. Garcia.

Mr. Rodriguez is survived by his wife, Guadalupe Gonzalez; children, Armando Rodriguez, Jr., Maria G. Rodriguez, Erik Rodriguez, Krystal Gutierrez (Leonel), Aaron Gonzalez, Alvaro Gonzalez, Edgar Hinojosa (Gabriela); brothers, Rafael Rodriguez (Lupita), Manuel Rodriguez, Jr. (Frances), Tomas Rodriguez (Lourdes), Ricardo Galicia (Ester); sisters, Maria G. Perez, Blanca Garcia (George), Sylvia Campos (Jaime), Graciela Ayala Galicia, Emilia Chapa (Bernardo); nineteen grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held from 1pm to 9pm with a recitation of the Holy Rosary at 7pm at Funeraria Del Angel Buena Vista on Thursday, July 14, 2011.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10am at Holy Family Catholic Church with committal service to follow at Buena Vista Burial Park on Friday, July 15, 2011.

Serving as pallbearers will be Manuel Rodriguez, Jr., Aaron Gonzalez, Rolando Rodriguez, Hector Rafael Rodriguez, Rafael Rodriguez, Jr., Jaime Campos, Edgar Hinojosa and Jose A. Gonzalez. Honorary pallbearers will be Rafael Rodriguez, Armando Rodriguez, Jr. and George Garcia.
