Wing Kue “Bill” Kwan, 79, of Brossard, Quebec, passed away Monday, July 1, 2013, surrounded by his family and loved ones.
A native of Hoi Ping, Canton, Bill moved to Canada in 1955 and grew to love the country as he resided and worked in Swift Current, SK; Medicine Hat, AB; Quebec City, Chicoutimi, Sept-Iles, Port-Cartier, Baie-Comeau, and Havre-Saint-Pierre, QC. He diligently worked in the restaurant industry and thoroughly enjoyed the people he met and got to know through his gregarious personality and love of conversation.
Bill is survived by his wife of 44 years, Wai Yee “Josephine” Lee; 3 sons, Philippe, Stanley and Henry; and future daughter-in-law Whitney.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, July 6, 2013 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and Sunday, July 7, 2013 from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM at La Maison Darche, 7679 boul. Taschereau, Brossard.
