He was born August 5, 1936 in Detroit, Michigan and came to the area in 2005 from Highland, Michigan. He was a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean War and a mechanic in the automotive industry. He loved golf.
Preceded in death by son, Brian Ladd and brother William Ladd, he is survived by his wife: Caroline Ladd of Spring Hill, Florida; sons: Jeffrey Ladd of Ortonville, Michigan, Gregory Ladd of Annapolis, Maryland, Jason Ladd of Osdato, Michigan, Trevor Ladd of Davenport, Iowa, Jeremiah Ladd of Lansing, Michigan, Jonathon "Fritz" Ladd of Highland, Michigan, and Stanislaw Ladd of Highland, Michigan; brothers: Robert Ladd of Kentucky and Bruce Ladd of Oldsmar, Florida; sister: Eileen Nolff of Dearborn, Michigan; and eight grandchildren.
