Boone, Walter Dennis, age 64 of Tellico Plains, TN, and formerly of Brooksville, died Wed., Sept. 29, 2021. Born in Tampa, he was a longtime resident of Brooksville and retired from the Hernando County Animal Services and he was an accomplished fisherman and bowler.
He is survived by his wife Judy, daughter: Sarah (Scottie) Yarbrough of Athens, TN; sons: Luther (Crystal) Knight and Cody Stephenson all of Tellico Plains, TN; brother: Larry (Shirleen) Boone of Brooksville; 3 grandchildren.
Visitation for friends will be 5-7pm, Mon., Oct. 11, 2021 at the Merritt Funeral Home, Brooksville Chapel, where funeral services will be conducted 10am, Tue., Oct. 12, 2021. Interment will follow at the Brooksville Cemetery.
