Vickie G. Batten

She was a fitness instructor at Candlelight Fitness and loved to arrange flowers and work in her yard. She is known by many as “Miss Vickie.” 

She was preceded in death by her brother: William C. “Boo” Gregory.  She is survived by her husband: Darryl Batten, Sr.;  son: Joshua Hoyle; stepson:  Darryl Jr.;  daughter and son-in-law:  Amie and Michael Stevenson, all of Brooksville, FL; stepdaughter: Kalin Blauvelt Batten of Claremont;  sister and brother-in-law: Debbie and Bobby Cook of Valdosta, GA; parents: Billy and Patricia Gregory of Brooksville, FL; five grandchildren; nieces and nephews and her very special niece, Audie Sunday.

Visitation will be from 10am-Noon, Tuesday, May 9, 2017 at Merritt Funeral Home, Brooksville Chapel with funeral services beginning at 12 Noon. Interment will follow at Lake Lindsey Cemetery.
