Todd James Zoretic, 43, went home to our Lord on Thursday, September 22, 2016 at Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital in Roanoke, Virginia. He was born in St. Petersburg, Florida to Thomas & Karen Zoretic on July 24, 1973. He grew up in Brooksville, Florida where he was involved in Scouts and Junior and High School Band. He was a friend to many and had an unselfish commitment to helping others.
In 1996, Todd married the love of his life, Jennifer Rice, and had two beautiful boys, Mason James and Dillon Joseph. He was an awesome dad to his two sons. He loved being a dad more than anything else.
Todd enjoyed camping, fishing, music, working out and spending time with his family. He loved life and had a wonderful sense of humor with the unique ability to make anyone laugh. He loved the Lord and was a member of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church in Salem, Virginia.
Todd is survived by his wife of 20 years, Jennifer Zoretic; two handsome boys, Mason James and Dillon Joseph; parents, Thomas and Karen Zoretic of Brooksville, Florida; brother, Thomas Zoretic & wife, Lauren of Bella Vista, Arkansas; brother, David Zoretic and wife, Jeannette of West Chester, Pennsylvania; sister, Sharon Peters and husband, James of Inverness, Florida; maternal grandmother, Evelyn Currens of Deltona, Florida; many nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles. Predeceased sister, Karen Lee Zoretic. He was loved by all his relatives as well as his extended family, mother-in-law, sisters-in-law and brother-in-law. Visitation for friends will be 6-8:00pm, Friday, September 30, 2016 at Merritt Funeral Home, Brooksville Chapel with vigil at 7:00pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:30am, Saturday, October 1, 2016 at St. Anthony the Abbot Catholic Church with Father Paul Pecchie celebrant. Interment will follow at Brooksville Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Anthony the Abbot Catholic Church, 20428 Cortez Blvd., Brooksville, FL 34601.
