PAULES, Susan Doubleday, 77, of Brooksville, Florida, passed away Thursday, January 3, 2019 at her home.
She was born August 11, 1941 in Kalamazoo, Michigan and came to Lake Wales, Florida at the age of six years old. She retired after 20 plus years as a payroll administrator with USF and was a member of Eden Baptist Church. She loved serving the Lord, Gospel music, the Gators and adored her grandbabies.
She is preceded in death by her husband of 55 years, Elwood “Woody” M. Paules Jr. She is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law: Jay & Jill Paules of Dover, Florida and Glenn & Sherri Paules of New Port Richey, Florida; brother: John A. Doubleday of St. Petersburg, Florida; sister: Luise Britner of Heber Springs, Arkansas; grandchildren: Drew (Brittany), Trenton, Lucas, Eric, Elijah and Jacobie Paules; great-grandchildren: Nathan and Natalie Grace Paules.
A Visitation for family and friends will be held from 10:00-11:00am, Saturday, January 12, 2019 at Eden Baptist Church where Funeral Services will begin at 11:00am, with Pastor Damont Drake officiating. Mrs. Paules will be laid to rest next to her husband at Lake Lindsey Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Eden Baptist Church or your favorite charity.
