Born April 5, 1944 in Boston, Massachusetts, he was the son of the late Myron & Florence “Tippi” (Tepperman) Boraks. He served in the United State Navy during the Vietnam War and later worked as a mechanic at AAMCO Transmissions. He came to Brooksville 32 years ago from Miami, Florida, he was Jewish by faith, and he loved to eat.
He is preceded in death by his parents and his beloved wife, Maria. He is survived by his sister, Judy Cohan of St. Petersburg, Florida; nephews, Matthew Manaici of Tennessee and Stephen Manaici (Diana) of Spring Hill, Florida; niece, Gina Saidi (Alex Nastro) of Brooksville, Florida; great-nephew, Ryan Manaici; great-nieces, Kiersten Manaici, Rihanna Manaici and Serena Stremplewski; sister-in-law, Sue Manaici (Steve) of Brooksville, Florida.
A Memorial Service will be held at 11:30am, Friday, February 28, 2020 at the HPH Hospice Care Center. An Inurnment will follow at 1:30pm at Florida National Cemetery, with military honors.
