CHAFFIN, Roy Junior, age 86, of Dade City, FL died Thursday, April 30, 2015 at his home. He was born in Springfield, Ohio and came to the area 20 years ago from Gulfport, FL. He was an assembly worker with International Harvester. Predeceased by son, Rick Lee Chaffin, he is survived by his sons: Donald F. and Daniel Paul Chaffin, both of Dade City, FL; daughters: Pamela J. Geeraerts of St. Petersburg, FL; Joy K. Geeraerts of Tampa, FL; 10 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren. Visitation will be 3-5:00pm, Sunday, May 3, 2015 at the Merritt Funeral Home, Brooksville Chapel, where funeral services will be conducted at 10:30am, Monday, May 4, 2015 with Pastor David Chaffin officiating. Interment will follow at Brooksville Cemetery.
