He was born September 7, 1945 in Welch, West Virginia and came to Brooksville 33 years ago from Tell City, Indiana. He was a United States Army veteran, owner of a trucking business, a Scottish Rite Mason, a Shriner and an usher at the Christian Church in the Wildwood.
He is preceded in death by his parents, John and Cora May. He is survived by his loving wife of 35 years: Mary Rosetta "Rosie" May; sons and daughters-in-law: Matthew & Danielle May of Brooksville, Florida and John & Kristy May of Evansville, Indiana; one granddaughter: Cassidy May.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 1:00pm, Saturday, August 24, 2019 at the Christian Church in the Wildwood.
