Robert was born in Manhattan, New York. When he was a toddler Robert and his parents moved to Staten Island. He graduated from St. Peter’s High School. He has also lived in Chester, New York and Mill Rift, Pennsylvania. Robert was a retired FDNY Lieutenant. He was a Lance Corporal in the United States Marine Corps. After retiring, Robert was a realtor in Spring Hill, Florida for many years. He also was a licensed ham radio operator with an extra class license. He was a proud member of the FDNY 343 Retirees Club in Spring Hill, Florida. His hobbies included metal detecting and autograph collecting. He performed as an amateur Magician for schools and children’s parties.
He is survived by his wife, Patricia Ann Baeza and sons, John James Baeza (Ret. NYPD Detective) and Jeffrey Robert Baeza (Honors Grad, USF) and his wife Cheryl. Robert is also survived by his beloved grandchildren, Adam Frank, Janae Berlad, Trevan Frank, Robert “Bo” Baeza, Allegra Baeza, Harley Frank, Heather Baeza, D’Laney Baeza, D’Arby Baeza and Matthew Baeza. He is survived by two sisters, Phyllis Sidock, Jo Renee Burke and many dear nieces and nephews.
