Reverend William "Frank" Franklin Bishop

Born March 1, 1936 in Brooksville, Florida and a lifelong resident, he was the son of the late Peter Brooks & Edna Pearl (Chapman) Bishop.  He was an ordained minister with the Pentecostal Church of God Florida District and held many offices in the organization.  He was the former Pastor for 11 years in service of the Lord at Bread of Life Pentecostal Church of God, the former owner of Frank Bishop Well Drilling and Quality Pump and Well and, he was considered a jack-of-all trades. 

His favorite saying was, "This too shall pass."

He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Erone; sons and daughters-in-law, William Franklin II & Robin Bishop and Franklin P. & Jackie Bishop, all of Brooksville, Florida; daughters and sons-in-law, Christy Hardy of New Castle, Pennsylvania, Sandy Nasworthy of Brooksville, Florida, Lorri & Bill Lilly of Fort White, Florida, Stephanie & Carl Petrus of New Castle, Pennsylvania and Marla & Joey Young of Brooksville, Florida; 20 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren.  He is preceded in death by his son-in-law, Bill Hardy.

A Visitation for family and friends will be held from 12:00-1:00pm, Thursday, June 20, 2019 at Bread of Life Pentecostal Church of God, where Funeral Services will begin at 1:00pm, with Reverend Steve Hardaman and Reverend Larry Powell officiating.  Burial will follow at Lake Lindsey Cemetery.
