Rafael E. Gonzalez

He was born December 4, 1933 in Arecibo, Puerto Rico.  He served in the United States Navy and was a veteran of the Korean War.  He was Supervisor of Grounds and Maintenance at Freehold Regional High School District in New Jersey before retiring and moving to Spring Hill, Florida 20 years ago. He was a member of the VFW in New Jersey, the Korean War Veterans Association and the Seniors Club of Spring Hill.

He is preceded in death by his two sisters, Iris Soto and Alicia Conde.  He is survived by his wife of 67 years, Pura Gonzalez; son and daughter-in-law, Ralph Jr. & Tova Gonzalez of Spring Hill, Florida; daughters and sons-in-law, Noemi & George Riebesell of Rockwood, Maine and Myra & Michael Hamilton of Barnegat, New Jersey; five grandchildren, Michael, Mark, Noemi, Travis and Orlando; four great-grandchildren: Gabriel, Ryenn, Zayn and Hawke.
