Nell Jernigan Austin

She worked as a legal secretary for Johnston and Sasser, P.A. for 15 years.  Nell was the daughter of the late Jay P. and Mary Snow Jernigan.  She is also preceded in death by her husband: James Kenneth Austin; brothers: J.P. and J.M. Jernigan; sister: Leona J. Sellers.  She is survived by her loving children: June Dail Austin and Phillip Brian Austin (Bonnie); sisters: Charlotte J. Hypes and Patricia J. McQuaig (William); brother: Mallory F. Jernigan (Pat); grandchildren: Tyler and Hunter Austin, Valerie Pruc, and Melinda Cooper; great-grandchildren:  Hailey Rose Fowler, Noah Michael Cooper and Asher Gideon Austin.

A Visitation for family and friends will be held from 6:00-8:00pm, Friday, December 28, 2018 at Merritt Funeral Home, Brooksville Chapel.  Funeral Services will take place at 11:00am, Saturday, December 29, 2018 at the First Baptist Church of Brooksville, with Pastor Scott Harris and Pastor Bill Shaw officiating.  Burial will follow at the Lake Lindsey Cemetery. 

In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Arnold Palmer Hospital for Children.
